We loved our stay at Villa Alveus! The villa was beautiful, spacious and well-equipped—making it the perfect location for our stay in Äkäslompolo. We enjoyed the variety of activities nearby (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and skiing) and were even lucky enough to spot the northern lights right above the house. Already looking forward to coming back!

We had a great stay at Villa Alveus with our family! The chalet is well located, close to the city center, and is very functional (complete equipment). The bedding is comfortable and the sauna is very welcome after long days spent in the cold. The view from the living room is breathtaking, overlooking the snowy forest. The hosts were responsive and offered us Finnish chocolate upon our arrival, a nice touch. A magnificent and magical region of Finland! We only want one thing: to return as soon as possible! We recommend it with our eyes closed!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Alveus. The view from the living room is magnificent over the forest, and the decor is very warm. The bathroom with the sauna is incredible. A little extra: the cute little wool slippers. We were incredibly lucky to see the magnificent Northern Lights just above the chalet. The hosts were very responsive and really kind to have accepted a request from us. Sledding is available. Close to the village and the lake. I highly recommend it and hope to be able to return one day.

The accommodation is very spacious for two people. Everything was very clean and tidy. The kitchen is very well equipped (coffee was provided, various spices, etc.). The surroundings were quiet and it was a great place to unwind and relax. The tips for activities and restaurants in the region were very valuable. If we return to the region, we would definitely stay at Villa Alveus.
